Welcome to The Great Feast at Old Selfridges Hotel. A dream-like world of michelin star food, creative cocktails and live music.

Working alongside Great Feast and Selfridges we designed the core brand identity for this one-of-a-kind Christmas event and a set of four sub-brands for the different food, drink and live entertainment offerings.

We also art directed the visual output, creating a set of still and animated digital montage artworks for web and social media, aiming to create an other-worldly feel that taps in the joys of the festive season without leaning on the stereotypical symbols of Christmas.

Inspired by classic hotel signage and typographic lockups, the core event logo combines the Great Feast brand with hand-written type adapted from vintage Selfridges advertising.

For the four sub-brands we took a dive into experimental 1970's typography, creating a set of typemarks that are fun, unique and easy to differentiate. 

Each sub-brand was also paired with a different lead colour and a bespoke pattern that would feed in to and act as a visual signature for any artwork created for the seperate event offerings.
